Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: The first page of the letter is signed by "John Smith" and states that in order to alleviate the poverty of thousands who are destitute, "universal co-operation" is needed. The letter also covers taxation and misappropriation of land, and the need to reform the House of Commons.

The remainder of the letter contains a religious discussion regarding the Church and its place within society.
