Letter from James Hill to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Hill informs Owen that he was sad not to have seen him when Owen visited Manchester, and hopes that they can see each other soon. Hill then asks Owen whether he has seen copies of his newspaper, The Star in the East, and offers to send him copies. The letter finishes with Hill stating Owen would be "delighted" with the progress of their infant school and society.
