Letter from Henry Travis to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter, in which the possibility of Owen calling at Hartlepool whilst he delivers lectures in the North East is discussed. Travis explains that Mr. Davidson would have the "greatest pleasure" in allowing Owen to stay at their house and Travis himself would be certain to pay a visit.

Travis expresses regret at being unable to be with Owen when he is nearby as he feels he could be of some assistance.
