Letter from George Jacob Holyoake to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Holyoake encloses a letter (not present) from an individual who states it is important, and therefore Holyoake has sent it to Owen immediately. He then informs Owen that he has sent him a copy of Reasoner, which contains a notice of various meetings to be held by Owen.

Holyoake concludes the letter by thanking Owen for his letter of introduction for Mr Birch and requests, if convenient, that he "favour him with names of a few friends whom it would be important to see."
