Manuscript address, in which friends of Owen offer to raise money to help with the costs incurred in collecting Owen's papers from various locations. Boxes of papers have been gathered from New Orleans, New Harmony, New York and London and are currently being kept in an office in London and the friends believe that the cost of this must be in the region of £150.
For the purpose of "keeping this matter in shape" a Committee has been formed, and this Committee Owen to appoint Trustees to ensure the safe keeping of the papers [after Owen's death].
