Letter from Henry Travis to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter, in which Travis praises Owen's reply to "Concordian", although he does believe that the followers of that [?faith] are "too badly crippled" to be brought into "working order".

Owen's attention is brought to a plan for houses for the poor which Travis believes would be suitable for "Community building" and aspects of the plan are detailed for Owen to peruse.

A copied extract from the Morning Herald of the 27th July is present, which details the arrival of Capt. Morgan from New York.
