Letter from Alex Campbell to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Campbell write of Atkins 'Panorama'; it will close in a weeks time as Atkins (who has been ill) can longer afford the expense of keeping it open. Campbell has been doing some of the "Lecturing" [while Atkins was ill] allowing him to mention Owen's ideas of community buildings and Owen founding infant schools; Atkins, however is still of the opinion that " He only can Lecture!!!".

Further discussion is of Owen's general activities and an enquiry in regard to [Pierre] Baume's estate.
