Scope and Content

A circular from the British Secular Institute relating to the 1857 report of the institute and its "unanimous approval" from the "great body of promoters." The circular also asks for subscriptions from those who see the objects and endeavours of the Institute as "worthy."

Holyoake attaches a note to the circular, to Owen, stating that Owen's new volume is the "most important" he has issued so far.
