Letter from G.R. Hennell to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Hennell begins the letter by wishing Owen seasonal greetings and inquiring with whom he dined with on Christmas Day, before informing him that he has received No. 61 of "the journal." Hennell then refers to a message that Owen sent to him in regards to ideas surrounding "human responsibility" and gives his own thoughts on the topic. Hennell got the impression from Owen's message that a paper would be produced to discuss the subject.

In a post script Hennell states that he is looking forward to the next issue of the journal.
