Letter from John Turner to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Turner informs Owen that he received £18-10-0 from Mr. Austen on Saturday, and another £12 today, but he does not expect to receive any more from him on the up coming Saturday. Therefore he asks Owen for at least £30 "by some means or other."

Turner also states that Mr. Hansom has met him recently and that he will be in Manchester next week.

In a post script, Turner informs Owen that he has received two writs worth £7 each, and that the expenses will be £9 on Tuesday next, which he cannot avoid.
