Manuscript letter that opens by making reference to Owen being ill and hopes he will soon recover; remarks had wanted to see Owen yesterday at Muswell Hill [London], hurrying home from Portsmouth in the anticipation of doing so. Ashurst tells that he has been instructed by his doctor to leave town and is heading for the Isle of Wight.
