Manuscript letter notifying Owen that a parcel of books arrived for him shortly after he left Leeds. Writes that he had an interview with Sir John Beckett, and notes that he passed on one of Owen's books to him, although Beckett states he was not a convert to Owen's ideas and principles; closes by discussing the poor health of his brother Tho. [Thomas].
