Letter from Wm Neal to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Neal informs Robert Owen that he is the author of plans that were submitted to the Central Committees of Consolidated Trades Union in London, and not a Mr. Browne, whom he says is taking the credit.

Neal also states that he believes that an attempt on Owen's life is imminent , and that his enemies are numerous and if given the chance they would "crucify him as the Jews did Jesus," if he was "in their power." Therefore he asks Owen to take care at a meeting that he is scheduled to attend.
