Letter form John Steer and John Hill to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Two manuscript letters from John Steer and John Hill. The letter from Steer says that he has spoken to Hill and they agree that they do not want to be included in the resolution Owen is putting forward. He says that he hopes Owen will not be disappointed and wishes him success. The letter from Hill also says that he also does not want to be included in the resolution. Also included is a printed copy of Resolutions passed by a meeting in the rooms of the Royal London Bazaar to form the 'Institution of the intelligent and well disposed of the industrious classes to remove the Causes of Ignorance and Poverty'.
