Letter from Sam Slee to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter in which Slee, writing from Philadelphia, says that he heard Owen speak and became interested in his system of society. Slee says that he lost his religious beliefs some years ago and has since become a follower of Owen and has printed some of his works. Slee believes that by 1900 Owen's system of society will be universal. He asks if Owen will send him a copy of The Development.
