Letter from Anna Allsop to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter discussion mainly focusses on family matters.

Allsop does enquire as to what progress Owen is making in Paris, although she states the "French papers do not interest her now". Owen is also asked what he thinks of the "Irish Rebellion", with Anna remarking that "Papa [Thomas Allsop] as usual looks upon it in the most dismal light".
