Scope and Content

Frederick Voigt to W. P. Crozier.

Location: Berlin.

The telephone service between London and Berlin has improved since a second cable was installed; calls come through in a matter of a few minutes and transmission is good. Berlin-Vienna, and Berlin-Paris, however, is not so good. He thinks that phoning to London might be better than wiring, as it would be less expensive, and there would be no need to book the call. Berlin could take messages from Vienna, but trying to phone both Berlin and Vienna messages might prove too much.
