Robert Dell to W. P. Crozier.

Location: Geneva.

Geneva is dead. His doctor has advised him to go away again as soon as possible. His son-in-law David Blelloch is going to Chile with Butler and other I.L.O. officials for a conference, and his daughter [Sylvia] has colitis and will go away somewhere for her health. He will not be able to stay with them and will probably go to Paris. He can cover Werth's holiday if he wishes.

There won't be much going on in Geneva until the session of the Council in mid-January. The economic sanctions come into force on 18 November. He comments that 'the general opinion in Paris is that there will be a deal between England and Italy at the expense of Ethiopia'.

He asks about Moore [payment].
