Scope and Content

Frederick Voigt to W. P. Crozier.

Location: London.

Regarding Fodor's visit to Italy, he has asked the F.O. to give him an introduction to someone at the British Embassy in Rome. He suggests that Fodor do a neutral article on Italy, or one giving Italy's case early one, this will allay the suspicions of the Italian authorities. He could write the 'real stuff' when he is out of the country. He says Fodor's rooms will most probably be searched. Perhaps he could get an interview with one of the Fascist leaders, even with Mussolini.

He encloses a note on German prisoners.
