The Chicago Daily News wants to proceed with the Balkan trip, so he will leave on 31 October, if they have no objections. His experience will benefit the M.G. in his future writings on those areas. His itinerary will be Zagreb, Belgrade, Salonichi, Athens, Istanbul, Ankara, with a day in Sofia on the return journey. He will furnish him with details of a substitute in due course.
