Scope and Content

Frederick Voigt to W. P. Crozier.

Location: London.

He answers his questions regarding his role in The Arrow. He refers to discontent with the press, both dailies and weeklies, commenting on various papers and periodicals. The aim was to create something between an informative newspaper and a more incisive broadsheet, to give guidance to thinking readers; it will be impartial. He quotes the names of people whom he consulted and gave encouragement. He refers to the inaccurate reports in the Evening Standard, and other misconceptions, and the 'malicious intent' of Philip Jordan. The broadsheet will be edited by Peter Grieve, formerly of the M.G.; he lists other people who are involved in the venture.
