Scope and Content

Probably taken when the Journal of Pathology published a Festschrift for Sir Robert Muir. This has the following information written on the back in pencil: "Taken at the door of the old Pathology Dept in 1934 by John Kirkpatrick, his technician and photographer. This was use [sic] as a frontispiece for the Festschrift of the J Patch & Bact July 1934 all contributed by his pupils. It was also used in the Royal Society's obituary by Roy Cameron."
