Contains fabric samples which are attached to writing paper headed 'Deputy Chairman of Ways and Means, House of Commons, London'. Also contains note from member of staff in V&A Textiles and Fashion department explaining that the designs were received at the same time as a John Cavanagh dress was given to the museum by Betty Harvie Anderson.
