TLS to T. R. Glover

Scope and Content

Expresses her support for the abolition of the Dual Control of Elementary Schools. Argues that religion is better taught in Council schools than in Church schools because teachers in Council schools are free from the catechism and so can teach children in a manner that suits their level and psychological development. Encourages Glover to join the proposed Committee on the religious instruction of children. Admits disappointment that the subject has gained attention for financial reasons.
