Scope and Content

Photographic prints taken from within Bwamba, Karamoja and Ruwenzori, Uganda. Subjects include: Alec Haddow; Vegetation and wider terrain; Structures; Equipment and facilities used for mosquito catches; People and their communities dancing, smoking, posing for the camera in long grass and holding a large leaf. Photographic prints have been reproduced from negatives GB 248 DC 068/5/2. More information about the scenes is available in the handwritten manuscript index available within the negatives volume.


Arranged chronologically, with the exception of the last two photographic prints, which have been arranged by size.

Custodial History

Originally donated to the Hunterian Museum. Accessioned by Archives & Special Collections 2017.
