Letter includes Stevens' response to the proofs and impartiality to the colour scheme. He agrees with a higher print run and requests some for himself, enclosing payment. Requests that copyright should be in his name and refers to a letter from psychiatrist Dr Merrill Moore who enjoyed the poems. In his response Duncan acknowledges the payment sent for five signed copies of Esthetique du Mal and one payment from Hearst magazine. Reminds Stevens that he is welcome to as many copies as he likes of his works published by the Press.
