Letter from Duncan to say that Three academic pieces has been published on 8 December. Signed copies have no leather on; however, it is the best and most expensive binding any of their editions has had. Signed copies bound by Peter Franck, unsigned bound by Arno Werner. Duncan has also written a letter to Alfred Knopf accompanying his copy. With reply from Stevens expressing his absolute delight with the copies he received but wondering if any of the copies have ties. Encloses payment in cheque for the five signed and three unsigned copies.
