Scope and Content

Letter from Stevens requesting that further copies be sent to Delmore Schwartz and Miss Carver at Partisan Review, at his expense. He will send copies himself to Prof. Matthiessen and Theodore Spencer at Harvard. Stevens wonders whether recognition should have been made to Franck in the copies and suggests that a slip might be laid with his name on, for people interested in the making of the book. With Duncan's reply informing Stevens that copies with ties are available and a copy has been sent to Schwartz, although Carver has moved from Manhattan. Other topics include a specially bound copy which Arno Werner is currently working on for Stevens.
