Copy letter to Stevens stating that the Press have submitted a monograph by Mr H Simons entitled "Wallace Stevens and Mallarmé", and asks if he would read it. Further, Sam Morse was invited to become a director. A ceramics production unit will supplement the Press. He enquires whether Stevens received the Book of Job. In reply: Stevens states his refusal to read the manuscript with no reason given. He is pleased that the Press will now have a potter, referring once again to Byrdcliffe. Having received a copy of Job he has not yet had a chance to look at it properly.
