Duncan enquires as to whether Stevens will have work to print by April in accordance with woodblocks being cut by Paul Williams. He comments also on the progress of other publications - Transport to summer and Robert Penn Warren's "Blackberry winter". In his reply Stevens explains the tenuous balance between the release of work printed by the Press and Knopf, focusing on Transport to summer and Harmonium. He has given the manuscript of Three academic pieces to Partisan Review. Gives details of contact made with Victor Hammer, printer and typographer, about a bookplate print.
