Letter from Stevens in which he tells Duncan of his agreement with Victor Hammer to do a poem of around one hundred lines if illustrations will be done by Fritz Kreadel. He comments that Duncan would do well in Europe, but not without learning a language. Refers to the time when Henry Church lived in France and spent no time with Americans.
