A compendium of Acts of Parliament regarding merchants of the staple, 2 Edw. III to 20 Hen. VI, 65 folios. The title suggests the 'xxxvith yere of Kynge Henry the sixt' as the date of composition.

Acquisition Information

The volume belonged to Robert Constable, serjeant at law, and includes an 18th century entry, 'Mad Susan Laye her book' (fo. 51v). A cutting from a Quaritch catalogue of 1881 has also been pasted into the volume, and has it featured as no. 65. It was probably bought by Samuel Sandars. Bequeated by Sanders to the Library in 1894.
