Includes family news, life at Cambo and in London, the development of her children Pauline, George Lowthian and Katharine [Kitty] Trevelyan, a visit to the Harben family at Newland Park, reference to the creation of a portrait of Pauline by William Arnold Forster, Charles' career, a visit to Seatoller, the appointment of Elsie Clarke as nurse to the children, reference to a toy horse (named Chipchase) purchased by Mrs Taylor to apologize for arguing for the cause of the suffragettes and an error made by Josiah Wedgwood in the House of Commons.
