Includes discussion of literature, a copy of the preface to Life in Letters , thanks for a visit to Wallington and an account of a visit to the Philips memorial in Manchester, a Hogarth Press catalogue from autumn 1957, a draft letter from Charles on nuclear weapons, correspondence and cuttings on the introduction of the Trevelyan scholarships and family news.
Correspondents include Upton Sinclair, M Philips Price, Dorothy Henley, George Macaulay Trevelyan, Herbert William Richmond and Rosalind Howard.
Also includes letters from Charles from the 1930s, and a letter to Charlie Chaplin from Charles complimenting his films.
There is also one letter to George Macaulay Trevelyan from Humphry Trevelyan.
