Administrative / Biographical History
The Federation of Master Cotton Spinners' Associations Ltd, was the umbrella organisation for the Oldham and other local cotton spinners' associations. The Federation provided members with information relating to world cotton production as well as being a pressure group which lobbied government on behalf of the cotton industry.
