• The Papers of Sir Bernard Pares are held at the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies, University College London. There are 15 letters between Sir Bernard and John Glyn Davies at the National Library of Wales, some letters and memoranda to Philip Kerr at the National Archives of Scotland and letters to the Manchester Guardian at Manchester University John Rylands Library
• Papers and publications of Edgar Allison Peers are held in the Brotherton Library, University of Leeds. Special Collections and Archives at the University of Liverpool holds a collection of Peers' books and manuscripts
• The Papers of Kenneth Povey (1898-1965), University Librarian 1938-1961, are available in Special Collections and Archives at the University of Liverpool at MS.10.55-77 and MS.14.1-29
• The Papers of Professor Sir Walter Raleigh are held at Merton College Library, Oxford
• The Papers of Sir Robert Robinson are held at The Royal Society, London
• The Papers of Sir Ronald Ross are held at the Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine
• The Papers of Sir Joseph Rotblat are currently (October 2007) being listed by the NCUACS and will be deposited at Churchill College, Cambridge University when the list is completed. The Papers include a section relating to Professor Rotblat's time at the University of Liverpool.
• The Papers of Frederick James Routledge are held as part of the Manuscripts sequence in Special Collections and Archives at the University of Liverpool at MS.17.1-14
