Counterpart demise from John Holt Stanway of Manchester co. Lancs gent, by the direction of Thomas Joseph Trafford esq of Trafford co. Lancs esq, to John Leaf of Prospect House in Hale co. Ches esq and Herbert Boyer of Barton upon Irwell co. Lancs gent, of a parcel of land in Stretford, Manchester, in trust to protect against the creation or performance of certain nuisances, namely "any inn, tavern, public-house, steam or fire engine, vitriol works, glass works, copper work, iron foundry, dye house, bowking house, stove-printing works, cotton factory, butcher's slaughterhouse, or the trade or business of a publican, victualler, melter of fat, pipe-maker, tallow-chandler, or soap-boiler, or any other manufactory, trade, business or employment whatsoever which could or might be deemed a public nuisance or private inconvenience".
