Scope and Content

The ledger contains on folios 1-49 the following accounts of income and expenditure: realized capital account; sales of land and property; dealings in stocks per Henry Cooke & Son; District Bank Ltd capital account; individual mortgage, loan and share accounts; chief rent; office fixtures; petty cash; Manchester and Salford Trustee Savings Bank.

The remainder of the volume (folios 50-99) comprises yearly statements of the revenue account, and balance sheets at the end of each calendar year, 1920-1966. Folios 100-131 are blank. There is an index of accounts at the front of the volume.
