This image shows the exterior of the supermarket at Talke, part of the North Midlands Co-operative Society (Normid). On the reverse it says, " The North Midland Society Talke hypermarket with 55,000 sq. ft. of selling space was opened in October 1975 and is the first store in the UK to allocate an equal amount of space for furniture and food". There are three copies of this item, black and white.
