The station has an American flag flying from a tower. The building is art deco in design, with lamps on the forecourt to illuminate the pumps. Both the front and verso are marked for publication. The second image shows a co-operative food store in Chicago, Sep 1959 the store is self-service with tills in the foreground. The image is blurred as it has been printed from a colour transparency, with the verso marked for publication. The third image shows a grocery warehouse in Melrose Park, Sep 1959. The image is blurred as it has been printed from a colour transparency, with the verso marked for publication. Black and white. Location of subject: Waukegan, Chicago and Melrose Park.
