This is an image of a mobile cake and bread shop. On the back of the image is written 'Now in service with the London Co-operative Society, this bakers' delivery van has a one-piece polyester/ glass roof and wheel covers based on Bakelite resin. The roofs have been painted in a pastel colour to minimise the effect of heat from the sun while at the same time allowing adequate light to enter.
