Scope and Content

This file contains eight photographic prints depicting aspects of co-operative industry. Captions refer to the co-operative section of a presumably wider scale exhibit of industries. Image one shows the co-operative section, a dirty gangway runs through it with covered stalls on either side. At the stalls are demonstrators and on the left some people are looking at a stall. The second is of the Cane Demonstration Centre stall, the Centre trains people in cane and bamboo working. The third image shows the tanning demonstration stall. The forth image shows the Honava Bee-Keeping Society stall, on the stall are products and workers are sat and stood around it. The five shows the Kumta Brass and Copper Workers Society stall with products and workers. The sixth shows the Coir Manufacture School of Ankola stall, the school is a government school. The seventh also shows the School. The eighth shows the Sirsi Women"s Co-operative Society stall, two women sit at the stall which is covered in products, primarily linens.
