Scope and Content

This file contains thirteen photographic prints and one item. Six of the prints and the item are contained in a folder entitled Mexican co-op newspaper Excelsior. The item is the archives address for the newspaper. The prints are; the assistant editor and the director of Excelsior, Toro and Garcia; Cruz Azul cement factory, exterior the verso is marked for publication in the Co-operative Review; President Diaz Ordaz of Mexico starts a new press sun, the verso is marked for publication in the Co-operative Review Jun; Excelsior"s printing plant, exterior and delivery fleet, the verso is marked for publication in the Co-operative Review Mar; the first run off the Albertine presses, workers are inspecting it; and a view of the Albertine press, a new roto-granure machine purchased in Germany for $560 000, the verso is marked "taken for Co-operative Review". All are annotated on the verso. There are five prints annotated "SANCOR" with annotations on the verso in Spainish, each shows a stage in the production on Sancor. The last two prints are also related to Sancor, showing the factory exterior in Sanata Fe, in which it is produced and some out of doors part of the process of production [possibly drying grains for beer or bread production as Sancor was a name associted with the production of both these products].
