Administrative / Biographical History

Douglas Pluck (d. 1994) was a chartered surveyor with a keen interest in wind and watermills. He served on the committee of the SPAB Mills Section 1979-1988. On retirement in 1983 he began researching the watermills of the River Waveney, publishing a book on this subject in 1994. Custodial History

Given to Mildred Cookson by Douglas's widow for passing on to the SPAB Mills Section. As the SPAB lacked space, the material was donated to the Mills Archive in November 2002.
