Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Grange, near Monifieth, was the ancient seat of the Durhams. By 1771 the estate was owned by Charles Hunter Esquire. It was later owned by Thomas Kerr, and when he died, in 1879, the estate passed to Alexander Anderson Esq.
Records are arranged chronologically.
