Administrative / Biographical History
Mrs Mills, of Dolgellau, Merionethshire, acquired a group of deeds relating to Nantgwyrdd-ddail bach, Dolgellau, Merionethshire, the home of David Roberts, who died in 1814; his son was Robert David (junior), an innkeeper, who died in 1856, when the estate passed to his wife, Mary Roberts. She died in 1885 and left a son, David, and three daughters, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary.
