Administrative / Biographical History
Sir John Robert Seeley (1834-95), historian and essayist, was Professor of Latin, University College London, 1863-69, and Regius Professor of Modern History, Cambridge, 1869-95. Robert Herbert Quick (1831-91), clergyman, schoolmaster, educational writer, and lecturer in the history of education, Cambridge, 1881-83, was Vicar of Sedburgh, Yorkshire, 1883-87.
