The letter regards three boys who have run away and gives details leading up to the event. One of the boys was in the Home under the Probation Act and so could now go to prison, which the Army had been trying to prevent. The Army was founded in 1863 by the Booths and is an evangelical Christian charity and social sercives organisation as well as a church that is internally organised like a military service. The letter is restricted from general research.
