The letter regards family news and matters, including the news that Carrie [Hughes] has sent chocolate to Hussars at the front and he hopes she will correspond with the children Miss Hughes is working with. George speculates that in England [Woodrow] Wilson [President 1913-1921] and America must be "in pretty abd odor" as they seek to get all saleable securities and gold into American hands, he also says the policy is effecting arnament questions and will mean America has banking control when the war ends.
