Pamela Daymond: Pupil case book

Scope and Content

Ms pupil case book (3 October-5 December 1958), including charts and tables, completed by Pamela Daymond, during her time training to become a midwife at the Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavilion at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (3 October-5 December 1958), recording the personal details as well as the pregnancy and confinement history of each patients she attended, as well as her observations on the progress of labour and the condition of the infant on birth.

Pamela Daymond (fl.1940-1960) was a midwife who trained at the in Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavilion at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh between 1958 and 1959.
